I think you have a point with the suspensions and injuries, but there is one major flaw in your idea: the Triple H factor. Triple H and Stephanie will push whoever is in their favor and that usually includes Randy Orton, Dave Batista, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H, himself. This may lower morale in the locker room as some guys would be fired or their spots may be taken away on TV. I don't this is a great option, but you are right that it would be better than what they have right now.

They really need new storylines...
The extension means more bottom ticket performers get elevated to headline status, poor storylines, and way too many championships.
yeah i think u rite cuz bak when raw n smackdown was together it was hot cuz all they had was 1 main championship one tag title on second rate title (ic) and the womens belt nobody else really paid attention 2 tha other betls plus u got a WHOLE lot of superstars and instead of wasting them like they r now they could make them look real good
I have been a fan of pofessional wrestling since the mid-seventies, and the sport is in a serious crisis now that has nothing to do with brand extensions or storylines. The WWE is destroying itself from within, with the "wink, wink" attitude towards steroids and other enhancement drugs. The very superstars who come out the strongest against these substances will soon be shown to be utter hypocrites. WWE's "bigger is better" policy is outdated and wrong. Stars such as Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Matt Hardy and MVP are the true future of the company, and the sooner Mr. McMahon wakes up and realizes that the fans of wrestling have a true, vested interest in the stars he promotes, the sooner we can have a product that will again be entertaining. People who hang on to the stupid notion that wrestling is "fake" need to understand that these people entertain the fans in a way that is similar to the stunt men taking over the movies-any modern day wrestling fan knows the shows are scripted-that's not why we watch. We enjoy the competition, the "suspension of belief", and we do care about the health and well-being of all of the performers, just as baseball and football fans care about the players on their favorite teams. Mr. McMahon-save your sport and do the right thing for your employees, for their sake and for ours!
